1. Can I order in advance?
Live chickens are subject to availability, and orders may be subject to change due to breed, sex, or health. We do not accept reservations or pre-orders.
2. Can I order now but get my chickens later?
We do not hold orders longer than 3 weeks.
3. Have your chickens been vaccinated?
All chickens sold by Dare 2 Dream Farms are sourced from NPIP Certified Hatcheries and are:
- H5/H7 Avian Influenza Clean
- Salmonella Monitored
- Pullorum-Typhoid Clean
- Vaccinated for Marek’s Disease
4. Do you guarantee your chickens?
Yes, we offer a “Healthy Hen Guarantee.” Read our full Healthy Hen Guarantee for more details. Most breeds are sexed and guaranteed to be female. Bantam breeds such as Silkies cannot be sexed at hatch, so are not guaranteed and will be labeled as such. Roosters are sold separately.
5. Can I buy different breeds and different ages all at once?
It’s fun and safe to mix breeds, but it isn’t safe to mix different age groups. For more information, read 4 Important Things to Consider When Ordering Your First Chickens.
6. Are supplies included with my purchase?
No. Please purchase all necessary poultry supplies to be delivered with your live animals.
7. Do you offer Pick Up and Delivery options?
Yes, both! Please review our delivery and pick up details, which includes a forecasted calendar.
During checkout, you’ll be prompted on your preferred fulfillment method: “Deliver to me,” or “I’ll pick it up myself.” If you choose “I’ll pick it up myself,” select your preferred pick-up location from a list. If you choose “Deliver to me,” we will text or email you the day before delivery with an estimated time of arrival (ETA). The notification will include a link for live updates so you can track your delivery and know when to expect your order.
