Pine Shavings Bale
Use this Pine Shavings Bale to line the inside of the coop and nesting boxes (or any area without dirt). This makes it comfortable for your chickens, and it’s easy to clean. Be sure not to use hay, straw, or cedar. Hay and straw house mites, lice, and other pests or parasites that can harm and irritate your flock. Chickens are allergic to cedar, so it is not a suitable substitute for pine shavings. Chickens will naturally turn the shavings to cover their droppings, so shavings will keep the coop and nesting boxes clean as long as possible. Plus, soiled pine shavings make great compost to use in your flower beds, lawn, or garden.
