Description

The Lodge Chicken Coop is our largest coop designed to house and protect up to twelve backyard chickens. Made with all-natural building materials, this sturdy, walk-in, rustic chicken home features all the accommodations you would expect from a standard-sized coop. Pair it with the 6′ high matching Lodge Run to give your chickens a safe enclosed space to forage and play during the day.

Add a wire skirt for extra protection against digging predators or a roof over the run to keep it dry or shaded during harsh weather. Plan to let your chickens free range? No problem! The battery-powered solar door with a photo sensor will open in the morning and close at dusk to make sure they’re safely locked inside from nighttime predators even when you can’t make it home before dark.

Dare 2 Dream Farms coops are built to order. Lead times are approximately 2-4 weeks at this time.

We highly recommend selecting White Glove delivery and installation, to ensure your coop is assembled and installed properly.

The intended installation site must be flat and level prior to delivery, and the pathway to the installation site must be free of any obstructions and have a minimum of 30″ wide clearance at all times.

If you’re unable to meet these requirements, please notify your customer service representative so the appropriate arrangements can be made. Please Contact Us for an estimated delivery date.

You may choose to pick up and assemble this yourself. However, please note that you will need a large vehicle (i.e., a trailer or truck) to transport this. Contact us to assess the size properly.

Assembling the coop yourself will require at least 2 people able to lift 60 lbs. (3 people will make the process easier.)

Expect 6-8 hours to assemble.

Do it Yourself predator skirts require a trench to be dug around the coop once it is assembled.

Minimum tools required: SCREW GUN, HAMMER, LADDER, LEVEL, CAULKING GUN FOR SOME ROOF TYPES, AND A BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF CONSTRUCTION.
